About This Project

Dynamic Spaced Repetition System

The Problem I'm Solving

Traditional spaced repetition apps like Anki encourage rote memorization. Users learn the exact wording of cards rather than truly understanding concepts. I can recite "What is the capital of France? Paris" perfectly but might struggle if asked "Which city is France's governmental center?"

My Solution

I'm building a web app that uses Claude AI to dynamically rephrase questions each time they appear for review. Instead of seeing the same static flashcard repeatedly, learners encounter varied formulations of the same question, forcing genuine comprehension rather than pattern memorization.

Why This Matters

Real understanding should be format-independent. If I truly know Paris is France's capital, I should answer correctly regardless of how the question is phrased. Dynamic questions test actual knowledge rather than memorised text patterns.
